This is the final week for summer reading program events! We are getting really excited about the Harry Potter Birthday Party this Thursday, July 31 (of course!) at 6:30 pm! Kids are invited to come in costume if they feel so inspired. This event is for all ages.
We are also pleased to announce that Midnight the dog has added one more day of appointments to his schedule! He will be at the library Saturday morning, August 2. Stop by the library or call 507-732-5211 to make an appointment to read with Midnight.
Young Adult activity logs are due this Saturday, August 2. The drawing for prizes will happen on Monday, August 4. All other activity and reading logs we will continue to accept through the month of August.
We will continue to have story time and LEGO club in August, but there will be no other special programming. We’ll keep you posted on upcoming fall programs.
There’s a vampire lurking in the library…and it might be you!
This summer’s young adult after-hours party is a Murder Mystery Night, with all attendees participating to help solve the mystery. The event will be Friday, July 25 from 7pm-9pm, and it is for 7th-12th graders. Character bios, costume pieces, and candy will be provided upon arrival.
Other upcoming July events include the LEGO creation contest on Thursday, July 24 at 6:30pm and the Harry Potter Birthday Party on Thursday, July 31 at 6:30pm. These events are for all ages.
