This is a reminder that our book discussions of The Great Gatsby will be taking place this Saturday, May 11 at 1:30 pm and Monday, May 13 at 6:30 pm. We hope that you are able to make it to one of these discussion times. They will be more or less the same discussion so it is not necessary to attend both. Bring all of your questions, comments, and reactions to the book. We are looking forward to hearing your perspective.
Our Zumbrota Reads program officially starts on Monday! Stop by the library to pick up your copy of the book, and participate in several events we have happening. For more information visit our Zumbrota Reads section of the website.
On this day (April 10), in 1925, “The Great Gatsby” was published.

The Minneapolis Guitar Quartet is coming to the Zumbrota Public Library on Saturday, February 23rd at 1 pm. They will be performing in our reading room, so you can enjoy a nice, relaxed atmosphere or browse for books while you listen to their music. Their repertoire ranges from Renaissance and Baroque to Spanish, Latin American and Romantic styles, and they have performed alongside several prominent symphonies and orchestras, as well as on NPR’s Performance Today. Soundboard Magazine has described the Minneapolis Guitar Quartet as “one of the major guitar ensembles in the world”. Come experience their sounds and stylings for yourself in the comfortable atmosphere of your favorite local library.
