Art Splash, September 13

As part of Art Splash 2008, the library will be home once again to one of the art tours. Locallly featured artists include: Jacque & Bob Bonsi, Stacy Drenckhahn, Catherine Friend, John Giannini, Amy Giannini, Jeannie Johnson, Marit Lomen, & Bev Voldseth.

Spotlight on Cooking

The library's current feature collection is its diverse selection of cooking and perserving books. The library carries numerous books and magazines covering a varitey of cooking-related topics. Stop in the library to check out our cooking and preserving books display. If you can't find the book you are looking for, ask us for assistance.

Cedar Rapids Public Library Flooding

In June 2008, the Cedar Rapids, Iowa Public Library sustained heavy damaged during major flooding in Iowa. Although the Cedar Rapids Public Library cannot accept donations of books because it does not have the space or the equipment needed to process them, they are taking monetary donations. Anyone wishing to donate to saving the library may do so at their website: http://www.crlibrary.info/
