Any resident of the state of Minnesota can apply for a free library card with identification and proof of residency. Please stop by the library any time to apply for a library card and take advantage of our collection of books, music, and movies.

How long do I get to check out materials?
Goodhue County Libraries follow the “rule of two” on circulation and fine rates:

2 week checkouts on all materials |
2 renewals on all materials |
2 day grace period on all materials |
$.20 fine on all overdues, per day |
Can I volunteer at the library?
Yes, you can. We have a number of dedicated volunteers who help us out every week, from covering books to shelf-checking.

Do you have a meeting room? How much does it cost?
The library has a meeting room available for general public use. The fee is $15.00 for non-profits, and $35.00 for for-profit organizations. For more information, please consult our meeting room policy.
Does the library have wireless internet access?
Yes, the library carries wireless, free of charge, to all patrons.
