Story Times

Story Time is at 10:30am every Tuesday at the library. Join us for stories, songs, rhymes, and more!

Story Time is for children with their caregivers.

Wake Up and Wiggle is at 10:30am every Saturday on the ZPL Facebook page. Join us for your favorite songs and rhymes from Story Time and some flannel activities and storytelling.

Baby Rhyme Time is at 10:30am on the first and third Fridays of each month on the ZPL Facebook page. Join us for songs, rhymes, and more early literacy building skills!

Baby Rhyme Time is for babies (birth – 2) with their caregivers.

Kids Book Club

Kids Book Club meets the last Monday of the month at 7:00pm. Book Club currently meets either virtually via GoToMeeting or in the library meeting room. Please contact the library to register for Book Club and provide an email address where meeting information can be sent.

June 28: Belly Up by Stuart Gibbs (or any book in the FunJungle series!)

July 26: The Wizards of Once by Cressida Cowell

August 23: Any book with a cat in it!

Kids Programs

Take and Make Activities: Summer STEAM Safari

Pick up a kit for a craft or activity in the library lobby every other week. Each kit will include everything you need to complete a project, some additional activities, and a suggested reading list. Some projects will include a video tutorial that you can find here or on the ZPL Facebook page. (Kits will be available on a first come first served basis as supplies last.)

LEGO Club, New Virtual Challenge Every Month!

Each month we will give you a LEGO Challenge. Send us your awesome solution to this challenge and we will post it for display on the ZPL Facebook Page. Submissions can be sent to Please include your name, age, and the name of your creation with your submission.
