Story Times

Story Time is at 10:30am every Tuesday and Saturday on Facebook Live through the ZPL Facebook account. Join us for stories, songs, rhymes, and more!

Story Time is for children with their caregivers.

Baby Rhyme Time is at 10:30am on the first and third Fridays of each month on the ZPL Facebook page. Join us for songs, rhymes, and more early literacy building skills!

Baby Rhyme Time is for babies (birth – 2) with their caregivers.


Kids Book Club

Kids Book Club meets the last Monday of the month at 7:00pm. Book Club currently meets either virtually via GoToMeeting or in the Council Chambers at City Hall. Please contact the library to register for Book Club and provide an email address where meeting information can be sent.

March 29: Hatchet by Gary Paulsen

April 26: Any of Nathan Hale’s Hazardous Tales graphic novels!

May 24: The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick


Kids Programs

Take and Make Activities

Pick up a kit for a craft or activity in the library lobby every other week. Each kit will include everything you need to complete the project, including written instructions. Some projects will include a video tutorial that you can find here or on the ZPL Facebook page. (Kits will be available on a first come first served basis as supplies last.)

LEGO Club, New Virtual Challenge Every Month!

Each month we will give you a LEGO Challenge. Send us your awesome solution to this challenge and we will post it for display on the ZPL Facebook Page. Submissions can be sent to zpl@selco.info. Please include your name, age, and the name of your creation with your submission.
