Lalo’s Lunchbox*, on the ZPL Facebook page
10:30 am, Tuesday, July 27, All Ages
Join Lalo and his friends as they handle unpredictable food erupting out of Lalo’s Lunchbox! This family friendly show has sketch comedy, sing-a-longs, and audience participation games that teach about healthy foods and how to be kind to others. This may sound cheesy, but this show’s too “Gouda” to pass up!
6:00 pm, Thursday, July 22, All Ages
The age categories are 5-8 years old and 9+. All entries are due by the start of the contest! Prizes will be awarded to the winners of each age bracket.
Please note that participants will drop their submissions off at the library for judging and then pick up their submissions sometime after the event. We will not have any activities during the judging time, as we want to keep the community safe and healthy. We will film the judging and post it to our website and social media sites. Thank you for your patience and understanding during these challenging times!
YogaQuest: Pokémon*, on Zoom
6:30 pm, Wednesday, August 11, recommended for upper elementary age and older
The original YogaQuest class is unlike any yoga class you have experienced before! It is a unique blend of yoga and fan-fiction story-telling. Your quest is guided by a narrator and a certified yoga instructor, as the class embarks on an epic, and often ridiculous, journey through a popular fandom. Move through the story by following a yoga routine designed to improve strength, balance, and flexibility. Pose nerdy with us!
Harry Potter – 6:30 pm, Thursday, June 24, All Ages
Disney – 6:30 pm, Thursday August 19, All Ages
Form a team of no more than six players and join us for a night of themed trivia at the library! Prizes will be awarded to the winning teams.
Sidewalk Chalk Day
10am – 1pm, Friday, August 13
Join us for a morning of sidewalk chalk, bubbles, and other outdoor games and activities OR pick up a kit and join the fun at home!
StoryWalks® in Covered Bridge Park
